People
talk about “leading by example,” but what does that mean?
To
lead by example means to do what you instruct other people to so that they can
learn from your actions. When they follow in your steps that is when you can
question them. For an example if you are a leader you cannot instruct people
who to stay late, and leave at 5:00 pm to go golfing.
Good
leaders push their people forward with excitement, inspiration, trust, and
vision. If you lead a team that doesn't trust you, productivity will drop.
Enthusiasm may disappear.
