Losing someone or something you love is very painful. After
a significant loss, you may experience all kinds of difficult and surprising emotions,
such as shock, anger, and guilt. Sometimes it may feel like the sadness will never let up or end.
While these feelings can be frightening, they are normal reactions to
loss.
I remember 2003, I lost my uncle in Eastern Cape, Bisho. He was hijacked and shot dead at the robots. The road was clear but because he was following instructions and did not want to break laws or do wrong. He was shot, waiting for the robots to open for him and he died on the sport.
When someone close to us dies, not only do we lose that
person on the physical level. We also face the loss of potential, what one could have been and what life would be if he/she was around.
Even thou it was not easy but at the end I released that the best medicine to move forward in life and have peace with yourself is to accept the things you cannot change in order to survive.
