Life at Universtity

Being a student is very good and at the end of the day it bears fruits. Being a student is not just a sweet bowl of cherries. It comes with commitment, time management and being able to know what you want in need in life. Priority is one of the most important  responsibility. People should be able to prioritize, be dedicated and self motivated. The journey is not an easy one but you can make it if you believe.

Finishing high and going to Varsity is a great achievement. That is where life for most teenagers or youth begins. You your leave your parents behind and start to be in dependent without your parents supervision. That is where future for others starts to shine and look brighter and that is where life for most kids gets destroyed. That is we where most kids lose focus and direction.

I remember when I was doing my first year at UWC 2004 and enrolling to a prelim programme. We were all excited that we at Varsity and we are away from our parents that we are not going to be controlled ever again. One would have a freedom do decide whether to go to class or not especially when it is raining. There would be fresher’s bash and the Barn would be open from Sunday to Sunday and students would go and comeback whenever they wanted so there was freedom. All this freedom would result to others not writing their exams by not qualify at the end of the year to write because of their low marks. And because of this many failed to finish their degrees in record time and others decided to drop out.
It is very important to prioritise, do first things first, be patient and wait for the right time. In all this I have leant that patience pays off.
